The rumors continue to make the rounds regarding the location of this year’s WWE SummerSlam 2020, and with the pay-per-view rapidly-approaching, things are getting close to finalized.
As has been reported extensively over the last several weeks, WWE has been frantically searching for an alternate venue for this year’s SummerSlam rather than hold it at the Performance Center again.
The company was rumored to have reached out to multiple states and even explored non-traditional venues such as on the beach or on a cruise ship.
The WrestleVotes account notes that the feeling is that the PPV will indeed be happening outside of the PC and that WWE has found a location somewhere in the Northeastern part of the United States but it hasn’t been determined yet if fans will be in attendance.
F4WOnline.com takes the rumored NE location one step further by stating that Atlantic City, NJ has been the talked about destination for SummerSlam internally. Expect this story to be finalized soon with the PPV only a few weeks away.
