It looks like Lilian Garcia has found a new mixed martial arts (MMA) related gig.
The veteran WWE ring announcer and host of the Chasing Glory podcast announced during her appearance on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on ESPN on Monday morning that she has accepted a job as ring announcer for the Professional Fighters League (PFL) MMA promotion.
Garcia also took to social media after her interview with Helwani to comment further on her new job with the promotion formerly known as World Series of Fighting (WSOF).
“It’s official! I have signed on to be the NEW “In-Cage Announcer” for the [PFL] which is now on [ESPN],” wrote Garcia via her official Instagram page on Monday afternoon. “It’s no secret that I LOVE combat sports so now getting to be a part of the MMA world by introducing these amazing fighters in the ring who are fighting hard for an opportunity of a TITLE and ONE MILLION DOLLARS in EACH Division, is going to be unbelievably exciting!”
Lilian added, “There will be a regular season, playoffs and then a Championship Night which takes place on New Year’s Eve in NYC! All the action starts next week, May 9th in NY! Join me on this journey on ESPN as it will definitely prove to be Real, Raw & Inspiring!”
