The Lucha Bros recaptured the AAA Tag-Team Championships by defeating The Young Bucks at the AAA Verano de Escandalo 2019 event on Sunday evening.
The team of Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix defeated Nick and Matt Jackson in the main event of Sunday night’s event in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
The Young Bucks defeated Pentagon and Fenix in an impromptu match at the AAA Rey de Reyes 2019 event back on March 16th to begin their first-ever reign as AAA Tag-Team Champions, which ended when the Lucha Bros won back the belts at Sunday night’s show in Mexico.
After the event, The Young Bucks took to social media and wrote the following brief message:
“In the midst of one of our greatest rivalries. We’ll be back.”
