The Lucha Libre world has lost another legend this week.
Perro Aguayo, who was one of the biggest stars in Mexican wrestling and Lucha Libre history, has passed away aged 73 years old.
The story was first revealed by the Perros del Mar Facebook page, and has since confirmed by both CMLL and AAA.
There has been no cause of death reported as of this writing. We will keep you posted as additional information surfaces regarding the passing of Perro Aguayo.
Aguayo’s son, Perro Jr., was also a prolific wrestler in Mexico and passed away in 2015 at age 35 after a tragic in-ring freak accident which broke three vertebrae in his neck, killing him instantly.
