— Last week, it was reported that multi-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair was imminently set to return to action, with some speculation that she could be brought back for Saturday Night’s Main Event. While that didn’t materialize, Flair’s return continues to be just around the corner and another clue was offered by the wrestler herself when she posted on social media recently thanking NXT talent Lainey Reed for helping her train in advance of her return.
— PWInsider.com added that Flair is on the “cusp” of officially returning and she was also spotted recently at WWE’s headquarters in a photo shoot while also doing other “logistical work” with her return to storylines looming. With WWE’s schedule winding down for 2024 and the Raw on Netflix debut taking place during the first week of January, that could be a logical site for her return. Flair has been sidelined for just over a year, last having wrestled in early December 2023 when she suffered a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus in a match against Asuka.
