Mark "Rollerball" Rocco Dead At 69

The pro wrestling world has lost another veteran performer.

British wrestling legend Mark "Rollerball" Rocco has passed away at age 69, according to the All Star Wrestling promotion.

The pro wrestling veteran who is best known for portraying the original Black Tiger in a feud with Tiger Mask in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) back in 1982.

The official All Star Wrestling Facebook page issued the following statement regarding the passing of Mark Rocco:

"It is with the greatest of sadness that we have to announce the passing of the one and only MARK ROLLERBALL ROCCO, after suffering for the past few months - our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this very sad time."

WWE NXT General Manager and fellow British pro wrestling legend William Regal, as well as former WWE NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) both shared tributes in honor of Rocco. You can check those out via the tweets embedded below.
