Last night on WWE NXT, a match between Jordynne Grace and Cora Jade was stopped prematurely due to an injury to Jade, but it appears she has luckily escaped without it being a major issue.

The stoppage occurred when Grace backed Jade into a corner when the latter felt something wrong and subtly communicated to this the ref. Grace stepped back and the ref ended up stopping the match before ring announcer Lilian Garcia announced that Grace was the winner as Jade was unable to continue with the match.

Jade missed a good chunk of 2024 recovering from a torn ACL so there was initial concern that she may have re-aggravated that injury but she posted on X following the match that she got “rocked” but that her knees were okay.
