A handful of matches and segments have been made official for the special New Year’s Day edition of AEW Dynamite at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Darby Allin vs. Cody is set for the January 1 edition of AEW Dynamite as revealed by Allin on Instagram.

The two previously wrestled at Fyter Fest in June, where they wrestled to a time-limit draw.

Also announced for the next Dynamite (January 1, since there will be no live show next week on Christmas) is a women’s title match between champion Riho taking on new #1 contender Kris Statlander. Statlander earned the title match after beating Britt Baker last night on Dynamite.

Finally, also on tap for the 1/1 Dynamite will be MJF, who will be revealing the stipulations of his upcoming match against Cody.
