Matt Jackson Reveals Nick Jackson Worked Texas Street Fight At AEW Dynamite With “Terrible Flu”

On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite from Texas, The Young Bucks defeated The Inner Circle duo Proud -N- Powerful (Santana & Ortiz) in a Texas Street Fight to become the new number one contenders for the AEW Tag-Team Championship.

Following the bout, Matt Jackson would reveal on Twitter that brother Nick was working the event with the flu, and commended his brother for a gutsy performance.

“Nick laid on the floor in our locker room all day, suffering a terrible flu,” wrote Matt via Twitter on Wednesday night after the AEW Dynamite broadcast wapped up from Garland, Texas. “Then popped up [and] put in that gutsy performance tonight.”

Matt added, “He won’t say it, so I’ll do it for him. Proud he’s my brother [and] tag-team partner.”
