WWE isn’t the only pro wrestling company making changes today.
Matt Striker took to social media on Wednesday afternoon to announce his IMPACT Wrestling departure.
The IMPACT On AXS TV commentator took to his Twitter page and wrote the following tweet:
“I am disappointed that my time with #ImpactonAXSTV is done. I REALLY enjoyed that locker room. Thanks for allowing me to tell your story. Thanks, everyone. Stay safe.”
Striker would later delete the tweet, however Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that Striker’s departure from IMPACT has been confirmed through sources from the company.
The wrestling veteran began his role as a commentator alongside D’Lo Brown back in January of 2021. Brown is reportedly going to remain as part of the commentary team going forward.
We will keep you posted here at eWrestling.com as updates continue to surface regarding Matt Striker’s departure from IMPACT Wrestling.
