Mayu Iwatani Captures Women Of Honor Title At ROH: Bound By Honor – Miami

At the Ring Of Honor live “Bound By Honor” special in Miami, Florida on Sunday evening, a world championship changed hands.

During the ROH: Bound By Honor – Miami event, which streamed live via the HonorClub digital subscription service, Mayu Iwatani captured the Women Of Honor Championship from Kelly Klein.

Iwatani, who also holds the Artist Of Stardom Championships with Saki Kashima and Tam Nakano, ended Klein’s 58-day reign as the second-ever Women Of Honor Champion by pinning her at Sunday night’s show after executing a moonsault off the top-rope.

Klein’s reign as the second Women Of Honor Champion began when she won a Four Corner Survival Match at ROH: Final Battle 2018 on December 14, 2018, ending the reign of the first-ever champion, Sumie Sakai. She was also in the finals of the tournament to crown the inaugural champion, which she lost to Sakai at the ROH: Supercard Of Honor XII event on April 7, 2018.
