The milestone NXT TakeOver: XXX already has a big feel to it, and with the latest announcement from “The Godfather of the black-and-gold brand,” it feels a little bit bigger.
Ahead of Wednesday night’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, Paul “Triple H” Levesque took to social media to announce a legendary rock band will be providing the audio that will score the milestone thirtieth NXT TakeOver live WWE Network special event.
“The Game” took to Twitter to post a tweet announcing the song “Moth Into Flame” by Metallica will be the official theme song for NXT TakeOver: XXX, which takes place on Saturday, August 22nd as part of WWE SummerSlam 2020 weekend.
“NXT TakeOver: XXX will be our biggest event yet,” wrote Triple H. “So we had to make it as LOUD as possible.”
He continued, “A special thank you to Metallica for this NXT Loud theme. “Moth Into Flame” gets even LOUDER on S&M2, out August 28th. #WeAreNXT.”
