Michael Elgin Statement

IMPACT Wrestling posted the following message, indicating that Michael Elgin will no longer be appearing on their programming moving forward. The wording did not specifically say that he was released or still suspended (the original statement last week noted that he was suspended pending a review) and when asked for clarification on whether he is still under contract, the company deferred back to their statement. However, Elgin himself released a message which all but confirms that he is gone.

IMPACT Wrestling has announced that Michael Elgin will not be appearing in any further IMPACT Wrestling programming.

-- Elgin's message is below:

I appreciate the time and opportunities given to me with Impact. That locker room, the film crew and all the company officials were a pleasure to be associated with. I hope that in time things get sorted.

For now i have to look at the bright side, I have more time to spend with my son and reclaim time that has been missed.
