Five talents from WWE’s black-and-gold brand caught the eye of a certain WWE Hall Of Fame legend this week.
Following this week’s edition of WWE NXT on the USA Network on Wednesday evening, pro wrestling icon Mick Foley took to social media to offer high-praise for Finn Balor and four of the talents from the WWE NXT women’s roster.
“The Hardcore Legend” commented on Balor’s performance, noting he is a “master at his craft.”
“Watching Finn Balor at work is watching a master at his craft,” wrote Foley. “Everything he does – the execution, the psychology, the selling – is state of the art.”
Later in the evening, Foley sounded off on his Twitter page about the performance from Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez, Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon in the match that saw the latter two claim the women’s tag-team titles.
“That was one HECK of a tag-team match,” Foley commented. “With all four women shining!”
He added, “Congratulations, Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon. Outstanding stuff from Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai.”
