There has been significant speculation regarding the potential appearances of top pro wrestling legends on AEW television as part of Sting’s announced retirement. Sting has confirmed that his final match will take place at AEW Revolution 2024.
According to a reliable source, AEW may consider bringing in iconic figures such as Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Lex Luger, Buff Bagwell, and others to commemorate Sting’s retirement. Interestingly, Sting himself mentioned all these names during his retirement promo on this week’s AEW Dynamite.
Additionally, AEW has announced that Tony Khan has a special gift in store for “The Icon” Sting on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite.
