Multiple Sources Claim That WWE Star MVP Knocked Out AEW’s Chris Jericho During 2020 Cruise

Recent negative publicity has emerged for “The Ocho” this week, with multiple sources reporting an incident involving AEW star Chris Jericho and WWE Superstar MVP during the Chris Jericho Cruise in 2020.

Brian Last, co-host of The Jim Cornette Experience podcast, hinted at the story during a recent episode, stating, “Man, there is a story I would love to tell, but I didn’t get permission, but him getting knocked out on his own cruise ship by someone he mouthed off to. It’s the most incredible story, but I can’t talk about that today.”

Following up on Last’s comments, Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net investigated the incident, confirming the story and revealing that the altercation occurred during Chris Jericho’s Rock N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea – Part Deux: Second Wave in January 2020. According to Haynes, a heated exchange of words between Jericho and former WWE U.S. and Tag-Team Champion MVP resulted in MVP knocking out Chris Jericho.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com also corroborated the alleged incident, mentioning that he had heard the story nearly a year ago, following earlier reports of issues between MVP and Jericho.
