It was previously reported that IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famers Team 3D (Bully Ray and D-Von) will be reuniting for the first time in seven years at the company’s 1000th episode special. IMPACT Wrestling made a huge announcement that not only will Bully Ray and D-Von be reuniting as Team 3D for the first time in seven years at their 1000th episode, but they will also be making their official return to an IMPACT Wrestling ring on that night against two opponents that have not been named yet.
This will be Team 3D’s first standard tag team match together since beating former WWE Star Neville (PAC) and one-half of the current Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn in Tag Team action on the 2016 WWE SummerSlam Kickoff Show. This will also be their first IMPACT Wrestling match together since defeating Tommy Dreamer and Abyss (Chris Park) in a Hardcore Match at the 2014 IMPACT Bound For Glory PPV.
IMPACT Wrestling’s 1000th episode special will air on Thursday, September 14 as the post-Victory Road episode, but the show will be taped on Saturday, September 9 from inside the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York. This episode will take place one day after the 2023 Victory Road PPV Event from the same venue.
