Lex Luger is having an eventful year.
This month, he’ll be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025 during a ceremony in Las Vegas. Additionally, Luger recently opened up about his personal life on the *83 Weeks* podcast, revealing that he recently got married.
After spending 17 years without dating anyone, Luger shared that he met his now-wife, Robin, just last year. The couple hit it off right away. “We started hanging out a little bit, and, you know, sparks started flying,” Luger recalled.
Luger’s wedding was a deeply personal affair. Pastor Steve, who had previously baptized and ordained him, officiated the ceremony. “I got saved on April 23rd, 2006, and Pastor Steve ordained me about nine years later,” Luger explained. “And now, he married us last Friday night on the back patio of our house, with just a few people there. We didn’t want the big wedding, but it was really special.”
Luger emphasized the significance of having Pastor Steve involved at every major milestone in his life. “To have Steve there for my salvation, my ordination, and now my marriage—it’s like the trifecta. He’s like my own brother.”
In other news, reports surfaced last month that Luger had named Sting as his “preferred choice” to induct him into the Hall of Fame. Despite Sting’s ongoing AEW contract, he’s expected to be in Las Vegas for WrestleMania weekend, participating in non-WWE-related events. Fightful Select reports that WWE is exploring the possibility of making it happen.
The 2025 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is set for Friday, April 18, at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ BleauLive Theater, following SmackDown.
