Last Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door Event inside the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada was announced of setting the biggest live gate in AEW history at about $1.2 million USD and being one of the top 3 biggest live gates in the history of pro wrestling in Canada, behind WWE WrestleMania X8 inside Toronto’s SkyDome topping the list with more than $3.9 million USD and WWE WrestleMania 6 from inside the SkyDome with $3.4 million USD.
WrestleTix reports that 13,519 tickets were distributed for Forbidden Door as of 4:30PM on Sunday and the show had a total seating capacity of 13,946.
