NJPW recently held their New Year Dash!! Event, which emanated from the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. The show saw reigning IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and reigning IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega face The United Empire (Jeff Cobb and Aaron Henare) in a Tag Team Match in the main event.

Below are the results from the show:

– House Of Torture (EVIL, Dick Togo and Yujiro Takahashi) def. Ren Narita, Tiger Mask and Tomoaki Honma in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. After the match, House Of Torture continued their attack on Ren Narita until Minoru Suzuki made his way out to make the save. El Desperado also made his way out and ran off House Of Torture alongside Minoru Suzuki and Ren Narita.

– Just Three Guys (Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Taichi and DOUKI) def. The United Empire (Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira and TJP) in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. TAKA Michinoku then announced that they were Just Four Guys, but in the match they would be Just Three Guys, promising big changes are coming. After the match, The United Empire attacked Just Four Guys.

– TMDK (Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste and Zack Sabre Jr.) def. CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto) in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. After the match, it was revealed that “Young Lion” Kosei Fujita was the newest member of TMDK.

– Ryusuke Taguchi, Togi Makabe, Shota Umino and YOH def. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi, SANADA and BUSHI) in an 8-Man Tag Team Match.

– Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tama Tonga, Master Wato and Hikuleo def. Bullet Club (Jay White, Taiji Ishimori, El Phantasmo and KENTA) in an 8-Man Tag Team Match. After the match, Bullet Club attacked Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tama Tonga, Master Wato and Hikuleo. Jay White then issued a challenge to Hikuleo for an upcoming event where the loser of the match must leave Japan.

– Shingo Takagi def. Great-O-Khan, Toru Yano and SHO in a 4-Way Match to become the Provisional KOPW 2023 Champion.

– IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega def. The United Empire (Jeff Cobb and Aaron Henare) in a Tag Team Match. After the match, Shingo Takagi confronted Kazuchika Okada, once again challenging him to a match for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, which Okada accepted.
