Viewership figures for Tuesday’s special NXT episode are in and the show generated an audience of 838,000, down only slightly from the 849,000 it drew a week earlier, also on Tuesday. In the key 18-49 demographic, NXT slipped to a 0.22 rating but managed to crack the top 15. The night on cable was led by the NBA playoffs’ two games that overlapped with NXT and drew 4.65 (2.02 rating) million and 2.96 million viewers (1.16 rating). The NHL playoff game between Dallas and Las Vegas also beat NXT with 887,000 viewers and a 0.29 rating.
