It has been reportedly previously that NXT wrestlers had a difficult series of days last week, having to stand around and fill the role of an audience for WWE Raw, Smackdown, Main Event and 205 Live.
The tapings took place last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and according to a report by wrestlinginc.com, talent was not happy at how everything went down.
They were told to arrive at 10 AM for COVID-19 “testing” (which constituted a brief questionnaire and a temperature check) before they were bussed to the Performance Center.
Not only were they only allowed to sit during scheduled breaks or in between matches, but the tapings each night did not end until 10 PM, meaning it was a 12-hour day for them all.
On Thursday, things did not go any better as WWE decided to tape the Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream match that will air at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.
The scheduled start time for that match was 7 PM and the match was to be taped outside in a cinematic fashion with cars surrounding the ring and the headlights serving as the lighting.
Unfortunately, there was a downpour that evening and so filming did not commence until midnight and the talent involved was not able to get home until “early in the morning.”
