We have a date for the next NXT TakeOver live special event on the WWE Network.
On Wednesday, WWE announced that NXT TakeOver will return with their next live special event on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 7pm Eastern Time / 4pm Pacific Time.
WWE.com released the following announcement earlier today:
NXT TakeOver set for Sunday, Oct. 4
Mark your calendars! The next edition of NXT TakeOver will come crashing into your home on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 7 ET/4 PT.
The event comes on the heels of an historic NXT TakeOver XXX that saw Damian Priest win a grueling North American Title Ladder Match, Io Shirai valiantly defend her NXT Women’s TItle, and Karrion Kross bring Doomsday by capturing the NXT Championship. Since then, Kross’ injury opened the window for Finn Bálor to capture the NXT Title in an epic series of matches involving Adam Cole, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.
Additionally, “The Godfather Of NXT,” Paul “Triple H” Levesque took to social media to comment on the 31st event in NXT TakeOver chronology going down on Oct. 4.
“In what has already been an exciting week for WWE NXT and NXT UK, WWE NXT is getting ready to TAKE OVER Sunday, October 4th,” Triple H wrote via his official Twitter feed today (see below). “The road to NXT TakeOver starts TONIGHT on USA Network at 8pm. #WeAreNXT.”
