NXT On USA Preview (3/4): Double Main Event With Two Steel Cage Matches Tonight At Full Sail

WWE’s black-and-gold brand returns this evening with a special edition of NXT On USA, as this week’s episode features two Steel Cage Match main events.

WWE.com released the following preview for tonight’s show:

WWE NXT preview, March 4, 2020: Two Steel Cage Matches headline a wild night of action

Two huge Steel Cage Matches will headline tonight’s edition of NXT. One will see the bitter, personal rivalry between The Velveteen Dream and Roderick Strong come to a head. The second will see former best friends Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai aim to settle the score. Who will stand tall in what are sure to be brutal Steel Cage showdowns? Find out on NXT, live tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network!

Velveteen Dream and Roderick Strong to clash in a Steel Cage Match

The next chapter in the bitter rivalry between The Velveteen Dream and Roderick Strong will be written tonight on NXT when they clash inside a Steel Cage.

Ever since returning from a brutal attack by Strong and The Undisputed ERA that put him out of action for months, The Velveteen Dream has been playing mind games with the former NXT North American Champion. Their first match ended with His Purple Highness coming out on top, but The Undisputed ERA wasted no time carrying out another ambush.

Will Velveteen Dream get the payback he’s looking for, or will Strong continue to punish His Purple Highness inside a Steel Cage?

Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai to square off in a Steel Cage Match

Dakota Kai may think she’s untouchable with Raquel Gonzalez in her corner, but she’ll have no help tonight, when she faces Tegan Nox in a Steel Cage Match.

Nox had her former best friend on the ropes during their Street Fight at TakeOver: Portland, when the towering Gonzalez snatched Nox off the top rope and slammed her into a table, allowing Kai to pick up the victory.

But Gonzalez will not be able to help Kai inside the unforgiving Steel Cage. Who will stand tall when these best friends-turned-bitter rivals clash?

Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch to battle The Undisputed ERA

NXT is set to play host to — in William Regal’s words — a “knock-down, drag-out” battle in the tag team division to go along with its two Steel Cage bouts tomorrow night.

As revealed in a tweet by the NXT General Manager, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch will mix it up with Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish of The Undisputed ERA in what is indeed a battle of the division’s two grittiest, most talented teams. Between this and the Steel Cage twofer, tonight’s action is looking more and more like one to mark on your calendar.

Will Imperium continue to target Finn Bálor?

Finn Bálor attempted to disclose his next moves last Wednesday, but he was cut short by Imperium’s Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner, who viciously attacked Bálor on behalf of NXT United Kingdom Champion WALTER.

Will Bálor finally get to reveal his plans, or will The Ring General and his soldiers continue to target The Prince?

What’s next for Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano?

Johnny Gargano ambushed Tommaso Ciampa last week after The Blackheart’s win over Austin Theory, sending a clear signal to his former friend and tag team partner that their storied rivalry is far from over.

What is next for Ciampa and Johnny Wrestling as they seemingly continue along this collision course? Find out on NXT, live tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network!
