Triple H In-Ring Explanation
We see Triple H standing in the center of the ring as the announcements for next week end. H begins, “In the history of NXT there has been no greater rivalry, no personal issue more intense than what we have witnessed over the last few years between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. It has, sparked…”
Triple H is interrupted by Tommaso Ciampa’s music sounding, Ciampa making his way down the ramp, entering the ring with COO Triple H.
Commentators state they knew Ciampa had gall, but to interrupt Triple H takes something else… Ciampa enters the ring and shakes the hand of Triple H. Ciampa states everything that’s needed said, has been said. everything that needed done, has been done. I know that Gargano is here, bring him out, let’s finish this.
Gargano asks Hunter if he’s lost his mind, stating last time he saw Ciampa, he tried to kill Gargano. Gargano asked why he’s been fined when Ciampa threw the weight and tried to fly through the glass. Triple H responds, “So nothing is your fault right? Super-kicking the referee wasn’t your fault?” H announces that if it were up to Regal, they would be gone.
Triple H tells Gargano to get in the ring, reminding Ciampa that there will be NO physicality, reiterating to Ciampa, “Don’t touch him.” Gargano climbs the apron into the ring and echoes, “Don’t touch me.” H tells both men that he’s been through this himself, with Shawn Michaels. H states that a time will come in their lives when they realize they have more in life than what happens in this ring, but it’s gotta end.
He can’t have them tearing up buildings, and can’t have them endangering the lives of people. Triple H says it should end on the biggest stage there is, in front of the whole world… Gargano interrupts stating that it was supposed to end last year, but Ciampa broke his neck. Gargano adds his only regret is that he isn’t the one who broke it. Ciampa steps towards Gargano, H stops him. Gargano states, “Keep him back!”
Ciampa begins, “Talk about ‘bigger things going on in the world’ bigger things have been going on in my world for the last year!” Ciampa reminds that he broke his neck, gave up his life… Ciampa gets close to H stating, “Now I’m telling you, this needs to end.” Triple H begins to say this needs to end on the biggest stage, Gargano interrupts again stating they just need a ring.
Ciampa asks “Who is the face of NXT? Who is the heart and soul…” Gargano interrupts, “Me!” H asks if they only need a ring, if they don’t need a big stage, are they ready now? Gargano quickly answers, “No, I’m not ready now.” With anger he adds, “He put me through a table two weeks ago, he threw me off a perch last week!” Triple H then asks how long he needs.
Gargano states he needs two weeks. Triple H agrees, saying he will find an empty building, put a ring in it, and set a referee. But when it’s over, it’s over. Two of you will walk in, and one of you will walk out. After it’s done, it’s over. In two weeks time, I will send you a message with a location and a time, and you will both be there.
Ciampa states in two weeks, “In two weeks, NXT carries on without Johnny Wrestling” Gargano responds, “Doesn’t happen, doesn’t happen. In two weeks, in two weeks you are going to have to admit what you already know in that black heart of yours. He’s the better man, the better wrestler, the better everything.” Ciampa bites his tongue.
A video begins playing as Triple H, Gargano, and Ciampa turn around. A clock strikes 12 as Killer Kross’s video plays. Kross’s face seen clearly as all three men continue to stare at the screen as it fades to black. With that the show ends!
