Official AEW All In Texas Attendance Lower Than Expected; AEW Will Receive Less Reimbursements

According to WrestleNomics, government records reveal that last July 12’s AEW All In: Texas pay-per-view (PPV) had an actual attendance of 23,759, with 21,973 attendees counted as spectators, meaning these were the number of tickets scanned for entry into the venue. The report noted that while the estimated number of tickets distributed was previously reported as 27,245, it is common for the number of tickets scanned to be significantly lower than the number distributed or sold. Of the 678 suite tickets sold, only 274 were scanned for admission.

The records also indicate that the governor’s office initially approved $1,078,340 to help cover expenses through a combination of state and local funding. However, AEW will ultimately receive less than that amount. Arlington City Manager Trey Yelverton confirmed that the reimbursements would be around $700,000. The variance from the initially approved amount is due to the funding approval being based on an estimated attendance of 33,490, which included 32,500 spectators.

Yelverton also expressed his appreciation for AEW bringing the event to Arlington and noted the significant number of attendees from outside the area. He mentioned that AEW has not yet received the reimbursement funding, which is typical, as the payment process can take between six and twelve months to finalize.
