As noted, WWE Superstar Paige was handed down a mandatory 60-day suspension for her second violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. In addition to Paige’s unfiltered thoughts on the situation (read here), her father Ricky Knight and her mother Saraya Knight also chimed in with their thoughts.

Paige’s father Ricky ended up opening up on his official Facebook page revealing what it was that Paige had in her system that caused her to fail the WWE Wellness Policy test for the second time.

“Ok here we go again. Yes, I know about my daughters [suspension, and] once again she has not failed a [drug] test.

My daughter has had a long term neck injury which [in my opinion] has not been dealt with. I have [asked] my daughter to return to [the] U.K. for help with this injury as help and direction in the U.S.A. has not been forthcoming [in my opinion]. She has been in pain and out of in-ring action for a fair while now and has been prescribed pain killers which apparently is against the [WWE] wellness program. I feel my daughter has been let down big time in the U.S.A. and the proper care and advice needed in the position she has been in has not happened. To say I am pissed off with the situation is an understatement. This is my statement. I am not open to questions. Thank you for your cooperation.”

Paige’s mother Saraya Knight, a former wrestler herself, responded to Ricky’s Facebook post on her own official Facebook page with the following statement:

“Sometimes letting out a scream just doesn’t sound loud enough, banging your head against a wall doesn’t reach the spot, closing down emotionally causes inner demons to surface, asking for help creates rumors, being in a sea of people but being alone, sometimes life just sucks…”
