Last night’s Triple Threat match between The Fiend, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman likely had some significant influence from Paul Heyman.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Heyman’s “fingerprints” were on the structure of the match and similar to past multi-person matches in which Brock Lesnar competed in.
It was reported that Heyman was reportedly brought back and paired with Roman Reigns due to the fact that he remains on the payroll as a high-paid “talent” and wasn’t being used.
As far as Reigns’ heel turn, it has been something that has been in the works for a while now and a change that Reigns has reportedly pushed for and WWE creative took that into account when planning his return.
We will keep you posted here at eWrestling.com as updates continue to surface regarding WWE’s plans for Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns going forward.
