Paul Heyman appears to be reversing Vince McMahon’s rules already as part of his first acts as the new WWE RAW Executive Director.
At least, that is according to Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.
One of Heyman’s biggest changes since coming into more power on RAW is that he has reversed McMahon’s recently added rule of having no wrestling during commercial breaks on the USA Network broadcast every Monday night.
According to the discussion between Meltzer and Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, Heyman made that creative decision, which is why this past week there was a lack of multi-fall matches and general match re-starts that had to be done when Vince’s edict was in place.
