In what has become a tradition at NXT TakeOver specials on the WWE Network, a big independent wrestler was shown in the front row during the broadcast.
Former EVOLVE Champion and UFC fighter Matt Riddle was in attendance at the Barclays Center on Saturday night for the big show.
Riddle appeared on camera following the Velveteen Dream vs. EC3 match, just before the NXT North American Championship showdown between Adam Cole and Ricochet.
