WWE is set to host its Saturday Night’s Main Event special on Saturday, November 1st, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Betting odds have been released for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between “The Best In The World” CM Punk and “Main Event” Jey Uso. Punk is favored to defeat Uso and become the current World Heavyweight Champion, with odds at -800 for Punk and +425 for Uso. The odds initially opened at -1000 for Punk and +550 for Uso, indicating a shift in public perception. Nevertheless, Punk is still given an 88.9% likelihood of winning the title.
This match was created after Seth Rollins suffered a legitimate injury at WWE Crown Jewel, prompting a change in the storyline. Consequently, Rollins was stripped of the title earlier this week, as the company cited a recent attack by Bron Breakker as the reason. Punk previously secured his title shot by winning a Triple Threat Match against LA Knight and Jey Uso. Uso, in turn, won a battle royal on RAW this week to earn a title shot for the vacant championship.
