A significant COVID-19 outbreak at the WWE Performance Center is expected to lead changes to this week’s NXT program, reports pwinsider.com. There had been talk of “outbreaks” over the last few days and WWE has stepped up testing for staff and wrestlers with sources suggesting that there have been multiple positive test results. Names are obviously not being released but along with those positive, many wrestlers have also been told to quarantine.
The report adds that a potential source for the outbreak might be traced back to a large group of Performance Center/NXT talents doing ring crew this past Thursday. It was noted that “dozens of talents” were working as ring crew and that many were not wearing masks during that process.
Stay tuned for the latest updates on this developing story.
