Pro wrestler Brady Booker is currently contesting on Survivor 51 but his time on the show almost ended abruptly after an accident.

In a scary scene on the reality show, Booker accidentally severed part of his thumb while doing work around his tribe’s camp with a machete.

Booker guessed that he lost about a quarter of his thumb and started realizing the prospects that the show’s medical team would disqualify him from competing further due to the injury by medically evacuating from the game. However, the show’s doctors treated Booker for his injury at camp and he was ultimately allowed to stay.

With Survivor already having been taped earlier in the year, Booker is back to wrestling on the indie scene where he competes for One Fall Wrestling. He has also been wrestling at dark matches for ROH (most recently just a few days ago) and for AEW earlier in 2026. Prior to that, Booker was with WWE within the NXT brand where he competed as “Bodhi Hayward” as part of the Chase U stable. He was let go from WWE almost four years ago – in November of 2022.
