One of the wrestlers associated with the early Total Nonstop Action (TNA) days of IMPACT Wrestling has passed away this week.
On Thursday, IMPACT Wrestling issued a statement via their official social media platforms to acknowledge the passing of former wrestler and actor Stevie Lee Richardson.
“It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Stevie Lee, better known as “Puppet The Psycho Dwarf” in the early days of TNA. We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family.”
Stevie Lee is best known to pro wrestling fans as “Puppet The Psycho Dwarf,” the little person wrestler who appeared on some of the earlier shows for the Jerry and Jeff Jarrett founded Tennessee-based weekly pay-per-view promotion.
According to a fundraiser campaign launched by his brother, Jim Richardson, the former TNA personality unexpectedly passed away at his home this past Wednesday, September 9, 2020.
The brother of the former wrestling star and part-time actor, best known for his appearances in American Horror Story, Jackass 3D, Oz The Great And Powerful, Rhino and March In Windy City, is asking for help from IMPACT Wrestling fans and fans of Stevie Lee alike to help cover the finances related to the funeral arrangements for the late wrestler/actor.
The message on the official fundraiser campaign page set up to help cover the funeral costs for Stevie Lee Richardson by his brother Jim Richardson reads as follows:
“Steve “Puppet The Psycho Dwarf” Lee Richardson unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his home in the morning. He was beloved by many and has many friends that were family, fans that adored him, but only his brother Jim left to take care of final arrangements. Puppet has put smiles across the world with his hardcore attitude and lifestyle. He is a legend in the art of Midget Wrestling. He needs our help to give him one last curtain call. Please donate what you can, share his memories with everyone, and share this fundraiser to give the Psycho Dwarf the best resting place possible. All proceeds will be given to Jim Richardson to handle the services/burial costs. Thank you all so much and Puppet, we love you brother!”
Those interested in contributing to the cause can send their donations by visiting the official fundraiser campaign page set up by Jim Richardson at GoFundMe.com.
