Randy Orton doesn’t forget the people who helped get him where he is today.
“The Viper” made this clear during his brand new sit-down interview with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin on the latest installment of “The Broken Skull Sessions” video podcast, which premiered via the WWE Network and Peacock Premium after Sunday night’s WWE Fastlane 2021 pay-per-view.
After the show, “The Apex Predator” took to social media to respond to a tweet posted by former WWE Superstar Shane “Hurricane” Helms, who gave Orton props for always being someone who “gives credit where it’s due.”
“Randy Orton is one of those rare people in this biz that actually gives credit where it’s due,” wrote Helms via Twitter when responding to a fan bringing up “The Viper” mentioning his name as the first person to get RKO’d.
The future WWE Hall Of Fame legend hopped on his Twitter page to respond to the fellow wrestling veteran.
“I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for many different people,” Orton wrote. “I’ll never forget that.”
He added, “But I know, and they know. No problem giving credit where credit is due. I have a spot. I’ll have that MOTHER F**KING spot as long as I want it. But make no mistake, I didn’t get here by myself.”
