Raw & Smackdown Ratings Surge Following WrestleMania

— Monday’s Raw was way up in the ratings, drawing nearly 4 million average viewers for the three hour broadcast compared to approximately 3.3 million last week. An average of 3.903 million people tuned in to watch the post-WrestleMania edition of the show and likely to see where Ronda Rousey is headed.

— Raw dominated competition on cable last night, finishing #1, #2 and #3 in the 18-49 demographic as well as #1 on the night in total viewership.

— The hours were:

* Hour 1 – 4.098 million
* Hour 2 – 4.069 million
* Hour 3 – 3.597 million

— Tuesday’s Smackdown Live soared in the ratings, generating almost three million viewers for the first time since last year’s Superstar Shake-Up edition. The show came in at 2.952 million, up significantly from last week’s 2.467 million and also up slightly from last year’s post-WrestleMania show which did 2.885 million. It was the third most watched episode since Smackdown went live almost two years ago.

— The usual bump from WrestleMania definitely helped as did fan interest to see who would be debuting or returning on the blue brand.

— On the night, Smackdown was #3 in total viewers on cable but was a clear #1 in the key 18-49 demographic. On the network side, viewership was generally down, with Roseanne leading the way at 13.765 million.
