Michael Cole’s absence from WWE Monday Night Raw this week had a straightforward reason, and it wasn’t due to any major issue.
According to pwinsider.com, the seasoned WWE commentator, who was temporarily replaced by Kevin Patrick for the “Season Premiere” of the weekly three-hour WWE program on the USA Network, alongside Wade Barrett, had personally requested the night off. His absence was unrelated to any health concerns or similar circumstances.
It’s worth mentioning that this request comes just a few weeks after Seth “Freakin'” Rollins had praised Michael Cole for his impressive record of missing only three shows in over 26 years.
Fans can expect Michael Cole to make his return on WWE Friday Night SmackDown this week, airing on FOX.
