A recently released WWE star may already be back in the company but in a slightly different role than when we last saw her.

Shayna Baszler, who was released just over two months ago, was listed as a producer for one of the matches on last night’s episode of WWE NXT, according to a report by Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net. According to Hays, Baszler was listed as the producer of the Kelani Jordan vs. Lainey Reid match, alongside another producer – Oney Lorcan.

Baszler was among the cuts on May 2, which came less than a year after she signed a new multi-year contract with WWE. Due to that, she would still be under a 90-day non-compete clause and technically still being paid by WWE so it remains to be seen if she is back with the company on a long-term basis or if they are using her until the non-compete runs out in early August. That would be when Baszler would be eligible to sign with another wrestling promotion.
