— WWE’s SummerSlam premium live event is just around the corner and previously it was reported that the company had locked in six matches that will be announced over the next few weeks. In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, two additional matches were reported as being added though of course, there hasn’t been an official confirmation from WWE yet.
— Logan Paul is set to take on Ricochet, expanding on a report last week that Paul was scheduled to be added to the card in a “in-ring showcase” type match that would take advantage of his abilities and pair him up with someone who would be able to highlight those strengths. Also reportedly added to the card is Rhea Ripley defending her WWE World Women’s championship against Raquel Rodriguez.
— That would bring the reported card to include the following eight matches:
- Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso
- Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
- Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch
- Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair
- Gunther vs Drew McIntyre
- Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler
- Logan Paul vs. Ricochet
- Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez
