It looks like “The Demon King” will soon be taking some time off from WWE.
According to a report by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Finn Balor will be taking some time off from WWE beginning next month.
Balor apparently asked WWE officials for two months off and the company granted him his request.
It’s unclear why he wanted the time off, but it sounds like he is just looking to “recharge” and presumably the time off will commence after August’s SummerSlam PPV.
Whether it’s unrelated or not, Balor ended up dropping the WWE Intercontinental title to Shinsuke Nakamura at Sunday’s Extreme Rules PPV.
