Last week, it was reported that that Mara Sade’s TNA Wrestling had expired, effectively making her a free agent. TNA Wrestling would later confirm the departure in a press release.
Sade worked last week’s TNA TV tapings in Philadelphia without a contract and the company was naturally very happy at how she handled herself and thankful that she worked the tapings due to being involved in the ongoing Knockouts TV Title tournament. Suffice to say, the two sides parted ways on very amicable terms.
While it was believed that TNA was in active negotiations to try and bring her back on a new deal, multiple sources report that Sade is ultimately going to land in AEW. PWInsider Elite reports that while AEW sources have not yet confirmed that she will be coming in, the belief amongst TNA talent is that she will sign with AEW.
he report adds that WWE sources also confirmed that there was some interest in bringing back Sade to the company, where she wrestled in NXT as Jakara Jackson but it appears that did not proceed beyond any preliminary conversations.
Fightful Select reported the same story – noting that Sade is not expected back in TNA Wrestling despite the company presenting her with a higher-paying contract and that sources within TNA and AEW expect her in AEW.
