According to the Wrestling Observer, Lucha Underground star King Cuerno might be headed to the WWE.
The news comes only one day after Cuerno was finally granted his release from his Lucha Underground contract following a series of lawsuits made by several other wrestlers against the promotion for not allowing them to compete during the off-season.
Cuerno was initially offered a spot in the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic but was not allowed to enter due to his AAA and LU contracts.
Speculation is that Cuerno’s WWE offer still stands.
