According to Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens, NXT commentator Percy Watson has quit the WWE to pursue a career in acting. If so, his last performance was at the previous tapings for NXT at Full Sail University. The latest tapings saw WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix step into his spot to join Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness for the yellow-and-black developmental brand.

Watson began as a wrestler for NXT between 2010-2013 before transitioning over to commentary full-time in 2016.
