It looks like The Rock might be out for RAW Reunion on Monday, but in for the re-launch of SmackDown Live when the show moves from the USA Network to FOX in October.
As of this writing, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is not advertised for Monday’s special WWE RAW Reunion show at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
It is worth noting, however, that with The Rock being the wrestler who coined the phrase “SmackDown” and popularize it in his promos during his epic run in WWE during the infamous Attitude Era, it would make sense for him to appear in October for the FOX launch of SmackDown Live.
This is, of course if his schedule at that particular time permits it. Even if he were to be interested now, his growing Hollywood schedule and other business-related commitments could change that as time rolls on and the October date draws closer.
We will keep you posted as more information regarding rumors of The Rock (and John Cena) returning to WWE television for RAW Reunion, the SmackDown Live launch on FOX or any other upcoming shows right here at eWrestling.com.
