WWE Staff Cuts Expected To Continue

Report: WWE Staff Cuts Expected To Continue

It looks like some early spring cleaning is being done within World Wrestling Entertainment this week.

PWInsider.com reports that WWE is making another round of cuts today to employees, primarily in backstage office type roles and Gerald Brisco’s release this morning was a part of those cuts.

Some of those being let go were those employees who were previously furloughed in the spring with the idea to bring them back, but with no travel and consequently no live events, WWE has had little need for employees in those departments.

At this time, it doesn’t appear as if the further cutbacks will affect any talent/wrestlers, however this like the cards WWE promotes on a regular basis, is subject to change.
