Vince McMahon sent out an email to talent earlier this week, reminding them that they have until end of day today to end any third-party relationships.
This follows Vince’s original email in early September where it was stated that these outside relationships must end within 30 days, even if the wrestlers were using their real names.
It seems the company back-tracked a bit and said it was okay to continue using these services as long as the talent were not using WWE trademarked names.
The latest report states that the company made it aware this week that while talent can continue to use Twitch, they are to turn over control of their accounts to WWE and that they will receive a percentage of revenues accrued that would count against their downside guarantee.
Note: We chose to wait to run this report as we reached out to WWE sources for comment, however we did not hear anything back that we are able post.
