— WWE has offered spots at the Performance Center to both Keith Lee and Walter, both of whom are two of the best “big men” in the indies right now. If true and if they accept, both men are expected to begin training at the Performance Center sometime in May.
— It is expected that Lee will be accepting WWE’s offer as he has stopped taking indie dates after May. Lee, who is either 32 or 33 years of age, is a strong and agile big man, in the mold of a more athletic Bam Bam Bigelow. Lee has also shown good charisma and can work multiple different styles of wrestling while delivering good matches.
— Lee signing with WWE would be contingent on getting approval from Gabe Sapolsky, since he currently has a contract with WWN. However, Sapolsky is technically now a WWE employee as he was hired by the company in a consultant role and so there probably won’t be an issue there.
— Walter’s status on the other hand is much more unclear. In the past, he has indicated that he has no interest in joining WWE because he’s got “employee status” with the wXw promotion in Europe, while also running their school and generally being satisfied with his life there.
