Cory Hays from Bodyslam.net reports on the latest news from WrestleVotes that WWE is planning to form a new women’s tag team featuring Natalya and Maxxine Dupri from Alpha Academy. The proposed name for the tag team is “The Dungeon Dolls.” WWE is currently working to get the name legally cleared for both programming and merchandising purposes.
In recent months, WWE has been airing digital segments on Monday Night RAW that feature Natalya and Dupri. These segments show Dupri seeking guidance from Natalya as she strives to improve her in-ring skills. Initially, Natalya seemed hesitant and cautious about collaborating with Dupri. However, the two women eventually teamed up for the first time during the Women’s Tag Team #1 Contender’s Gauntlet on the April 11th edition of SmackDown.
