Big news on the location of the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble premium live event.
According to PW Insider, next year’s Rumble will be taking place in Saudi Arabia. This will be the first time the event, which traditionally kicks off WWE’s WrestleMania season, is held outside the U.S. since it became a pay-per-view in 1989. The first Royal Rumble, a USA Network special, was held in Canada in 1988.
The deal to bring the Rumble to Saudi Arabia is finalized, with an official announcement expected as early as this Monday’s Raw Netflix premiere.
This marks WWE’s largest event in Saudi Arabia to date, part of the company’s ongoing 10-year agreement with the Kingdom, which runs through 2028. Over the course of the deal, WWE has hosted 12 pay-per-views, including the Greatest Royal Rumble, and two TV tapings. The agreement also saw the creation of the WWE Experience, featuring attractions like a dark ride and an Undertaker-themed escape room.
The 2025 Royal Rumble is scheduled for February 1 in Indianapolis.
