During the September 7, 2020 edition ofWWE Monday Night RAW , Retribution returned with a message to deliver to WWE talent and WWE Universe alike.

A match was in progress between Nia Jax and The Riott Squad when the screens went out where the fans were no longer seen. Liv took out Nia and went for a pin, but all the lights went out.

That’s when suddenly we were able to see the word “Retribution” appearing on the screens. Then a very dark silhouette of a group could be seen as a voice began delivering a message.

“This ThunderDome is only a facade behind the mountain of screens is the same foundation. The same WWE as before. The same behemoth who discarded and disowned us and left us to survive in an unfair world,” Retribution’s message began. “Where the powerful continue to grow, while we are left to feed on nothing but the scraps of contempt.”

A second voice continues on, “But contempt is a powerful motivator. We are driven to destroy. To lay waste to every superstar, and every fan. Blinded! You cannot see what you do not have. So the locust of contempt will feed on all of you!”

The group then wrapped up their message.

“The darkness of Retribution will seep into the pours of every superstar and all of your so called universe. WE are RETRIBUTION!”
